In my Aromatherapy practice, I recognised the necessity for deep listening and effective communication skills. This led to a much deeper interest in counselling so I completed four year training as a Therapeutic Counsellor and have been working as a counsellor since 1998.
This in turn led to further training with Mindfields College, where I gained a diploma in Human Givens Counselling. Around this time I worked as a voluntary counsellor for Palace Gate Counselling Service, as well as running a private Client list.
I am committed to my own personal self development in order to give the best service I can to my clients and have since qualified as an NLP Practitioner, a Life Coach and EFT [emotional freedom technique] practitioner.
I am a graduate member of the Human Givens Institute [HGI] and as such I abide by the ethical values of the HGI and continuing personal development [CPD] requirements.
This enables me to work in a holistic way providing a healing space within which, together, we can explore what your current needs are and be creative in the ways you can meet these needs. Each session is tailor- made for you and the way you want to work, empowering you to bring about for yourself positive change in all areas to achieve greater harmony, balance, safety, meaning and purpose, improved relationships with others etc.
I work from my own private practice at Haven Road, Exeter, Neals Yard Remedies, Exeter and at the Natural Health Practice, Cullompton.
